Exercising Your GDPR Rights
You may contact us at privacy@aopy.com to exercise any of your rights under the GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. We respond to requests within one month of receipt, as required by Article 12 GDPR.
If you received a marketing email or SMS sent through Aopy: the business that sent you the message (our Customer) is the controller of your personal data, and Aopy acts as its processor. You may address your request directly to the sender, or contact us — we will pass your request on to the relevant Customer and assist them in line with our Data Processing Agreement. Every marketing email sent through Aopy contains an unsubscribe link, and marketing SMS can be stopped at any time by replying STOP or DEZABONARE.
Self-Service Request Forms
You can submit the most common requests directly through our public forms:
- Request data deletion — right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- Request data export — right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
Requests submitted through these forms are recorded and are fulfilled only after we have verified your identity, within one month of receipt. Signed-in users can additionally export their account data directly from within the platform.
Supervisory Authority (ANSPDCP)
If you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection supervisory authority:
Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP)
- Address: B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, București, Romania
- Website: www.dataprotection.ro
You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State of your habitual residence or place of work.
