Email marketing, tracking and product feeds for PrestaShop shops
Do you run a PrestaShop shop? You connect it to Aopy with your shop address and a Webservice key from the PrestaShop back office. PrestaShop sends no notifications, so Aopy reads orders every 15 minutes and products hourly, with their variations and categories. Buyers arrive in Aopy with their orders. You use them in email, automations, segments, feeds and reports. The tracking code in your theme adds popups.
What syncs
Orders
Every 15 minutes. PrestaShop has no webhooks, so Aopy reads them from your shop. Cancelled, refunded and failed orders stop counting in attribution reports.
Products
Once an hour, with their variations (combinations) and categories. The catalog feeds your product feeds and the recommended products in your emails.
Customers
Customers are not imported as new contacts. Buyers come in with their orders. The newsletter and opt-in fields from PrestaShop stay as information on the contact only and do not count as consent for marketing email.
Carts and checkout
From the tracking code in your theme: products added to or removed from the cart and checkout started, for abandoned cart emails.
How to connect your shop
- 01In the PrestaShop back office, under Advanced Parameters, Webservice, switch on Enable PrestaShop's webservice.
- 02Press Add new webservice key, generate a key and give it View (GET) on the resources Aopy lists, among them products, orders, customers, currencies and configurations. Set the key to Enabled.
- 03In Aopy, under Integrations, PrestaShop, paste your shop address (HTTPS) and the key. Aopy checks them and reads your shop currency and time zone.
- 04Copy the tracking code from Aopy and paste it just before the closing head tag in your theme (themes/your-theme/templates/_partials/head.tpl), then reload your shop.
Tracking and orders
- 01Orders do not depend on the browser: Aopy reads them from your shop every 15 minutes, so an ad blocker cannot stop them. Aopy uses them to attribute sales in your reports.
- 02The tracking code in your theme adds on-site behaviour, visitor identification and your popups. Products and orders sync without it.
- 03On PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9 the code sees the cart and checkout by itself, with no other code in your theme. Events go out only after the visitor has given consent.

Frequently asked questions
Does Aopy work with PrestaShop?
Yes. You connect your shop with its address and a Webservice key, and Aopy brings in orders and products.
Which permissions does the Webservice key need?
View (GET) on products, combinations, stock, orders, order details and states, customers, currencies, categories and configurations. Aopy shows you the exact list when you connect. Configurations tell Aopy your shop time zone, and categories show up in automations and email blocks.
How fast do orders reach Aopy?
Within 15 minutes, and products within an hour. PrestaShop cannot send notifications to Aopy, so Aopy reads them at intervals.
Do I have to install a module in PrestaShop?
No. For popups and carts you paste the tracking code in your theme, in head.tpl, or through a custom code module.
Do PrestaShop customers arrive with email consent?
No. The newsletter and opt-in fields from PrestaShop stay as information on the contact only. Aopy does not treat them as consent for marketing email.
Does my shop need HTTPS?
Yes. Aopy needs the address of your live shop with HTTPS, because the Webservice key travels with every request.
