The best email marketing platforms for online stores in Romania (2026)

Seven email marketing platforms for online stores in Romania, grouped by what you need: everything in one account, a low price or selling abroad.

· Echipa Aopy

You have a store on Shopify, WooCommerce or Gomag and you want to send emails that bring orders. You search for a platform and find lists in which every vendor comes first in its own article. There is no platform that is good for everyone. There is one that fits what you sell, where you sell and how much you want to pay.

Below you will find seven platforms you often meet in Romania: Aopy, theMarketer, NewsMAN, Klaviyo, Brevo, Mailchimp and Omnisend. We do not give them scores and we do not rank them. We group them by need. Prices come from the vendors' official pages, in the currency each one publishes them in. We checked them on 12 October 2026. Prices change, so check the vendor's page before you pay.

We are the team that makes Aopy, so we have an interest. That is why every statement about the others has a source, and where we found no public information, we say so, rather than "it does not have".

What to check before you choose

Four questions spare you a hard move a year from now:

  1. Does it connect with your store's platform? Without an integration, you do not have the orders in your emails, so no abandoned cart and no segments based on what the customer bought.
  2. How is the price calculated? By contacts, by emails sent per month or by active profiles. Two offers that look the same end up costing differently at 10,000 contacts.
  3. What is included in the base plan? On some platforms, abandoned cart or RFM analysis are only in the more expensive plans.
  4. What do you do beyond email? SMS, pop-ups, reviews, ad tracking. You can have them in the same account or in separate apps.

If you want everything in a single account

In short, by your situation

  • You want emails, SMS and ads from the same account: look at Aopy and theMarketer, then compare what is included in the base plan.
  • You have a small budget and only need email: NewsMAN, or the free plans from theMarketer, Mailchimp and Omnisend, while the list is small.
  • You rarely send to a large list: Brevo, which calculates by emails, not by contacts.
  • You sell in several countries: Klaviyo, Omnisend or Mailchimp.
  • The store is on Magento: theMarketer, NewsMAN or Klaviyo have public integrations.

Run a simple test before you sign. Take your number of contacts, open the pricing pages and write down what you pay for abandoned cart and SMS. What it costs for your store, at 1,000, 10,000 and 50,000 contacts, you will find in the article on pricing.
